Terms of Service

These terms govern use of CartBridge / Agentic Cart Adapter by merchants and approved agent partners.

Service

The app lets approved agents search merchant catalogs, create native Shopify carts, generate signed quote records, and return Shopify checkout URLs. Shopify remains responsible for checkout, payment processing, order creation, tax, discounts, fraud checks, fulfillment, and merchant analytics.

Merchant responsibilities

• Authorize only agents and partners you trust.
• Set purchase policies, approval requirements, allowed origins, and blocked product categories appropriate for your store.
• Review checkout and order activity in Shopify as your system of record.
• Comply with Shopify policies, applicable law, privacy obligations, and consumer-protection rules.

Agent responsibilities

• Send truthful user authority and approval context.
• Provide the original buyer IP on Storefront calls made through the app.
• Do not submit requests for prohibited, restricted, or unsupported goods.
• Do not bypass merchant approval requirements or Shopify checkout.

Payment limitation

The app is not a payment processor, wallet, payment app, or card vault. Do not send card data to the app.

Availability

The app depends on Shopify APIs, merchant configuration, and agent systems. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features as needed for reliability, security, compliance, or product development.
